So, will it be about 22-23MP in DX crop mode?? With the pricing of the D500 battery grip in mind, I wonder how much the D850s will be??

Now that the announcement is official and the specifications have been confirmed, the D850 on the face of things seems to be the best camera coming out of Nikon. It definitely beats the Canon 5D mk IV and proves that DSLR's are not dead yet.

Full frame 4K video being only one of these features if that is what one is after. Increased resolution and advanced sensor technology, more dynamic range and better low light performance coupled with tilt touch screen and increased magnification through the view finder to mention but a few.

There is no doubt on this being a top full frame DSLR to join the flag ship D500 crop DSLR. The beauty is that the D810 still remains an excellent camera to be picked up second hand as more of them will be put on sale.
