Focusing problem

Welcome to the forum

It's very difficult to help with this little information.
How is the AF set up? Back button or shutter release half press? Which lens is it and is it set to AF. Have you tried more than one lens. Have you tried cleaning the lens and body contacts?
Please tell us some more.

Is it focusing or just not focusing on the subject?

What focusing mode are you using? Depending on subject, some modes are better than others.

Are you absolutely certain that the focus switch on the body hasn't been accidentally moved?

Have you tried the back button to see if it works? This could help you pin-point the culprit setting that's preventing the half-pressed focus acquisition.

More questions, but it's the only way to diagnose the problem and find the right solution.

Assuming you have the lenses set to AF and that neither shutter release nor AF button works. Have you tried AF in Live View? If live view works there is not any problem with the contacts.

Did the problem start suddenly or did you notice it now and then to begin with?

Cleaning lens and body contacts I'd start with just a microfiber cloth and if that doesn't do it trying small amounts of something like DeoxIT on the cloth.

Have you tried toggling the AF/M switches back and forth? Usually the lens has one as do many bodies. Be sure to do both if possible.
