D810: Anyone had any lubricant spots on their sensor?

Hi,

I am 50 clicks into my D810 and I have found 3 lubricant spots on the sensor as well as 15-20 dust spots. I don't think this is excessive but I wish it had been pristine....
Anyone else?

It's just all part of owning a DSLR it seems. My worst offender was my old D7000, but I've got a few on the D810 after not a lot of use, but they don't bother me, they'll be cleaned off eventually.

How do you know they are oil spots?

Welcome to the forum,as Pete ask how do you know they are oil spots.

I didn't think the D810 was prone to the oil spotting problems?
