Posting Photos

I've been trying to post some photos but haven't been able to. They are large files but the site says they will be cut down automatically. I've trig jpeg and tiff but can't seem to get them to work.

What m I doing wrong?

resize them before you upload. Best to resize to 1000px on the long size.

As advised resize them to 1000 pixels on the long side. Use any photo processing software, all of them have an option for resizing. If you have no software, use free Nicon View NX which comes with the camera, or else download it.

I would never upload full resolution images because
. I am wasting bandwidth (and time), smaller images load much faster.
. The exif data may get stripped while the site resizes your images.
. Some body may misuse the full resolution images.
