D80 HELP!!!!! Blank white screen and blank pictures

Ive had my D80 for about 7 years without any issues. The screen is completely blank and white when I take a picture. Furthermore, the menu options are all gone - in other words, it is not only the shooting mode that produces a white screen. I thought perhaps the display went out - but in fact the files on the card are all blank.

I looked up the factory reset and tried the two button reset to no avail. Any ideas?

You may be dead in the water. D80 is very old tech so it may be time for a upgrade.
