Welcome aboard. Enjoy the ride.
We look forward to seeing more posts and samples of your work.

Since I don't have a Nikon with touch screen, I can't help you, but I am sure help will be along shortly.

T. Permi, welcome! We were having some issues with the forum yesterday, so give us all a bit. I also don't have touch screen, so I cannot help this time, other than giving you some options. Do you have a screen protector on it? Possibly there is "dirt" trapped so the camera sees it as being touched, so your finger touch won't matter. Look in recent settings (or whatever it's called) and see if anything was changed. Remove the screen protector, maybe after trying other options if it can break and be unusable or dangerous. If you have User 1 and user 2, switch to the other user, maybe it is different. Reset the menu options. Let us know what works to correct it please!

Hi

The touchscreen on my Nikon d7500 doesn't react on fingertouch anymore. Any suggestions?

Not wishing to come off as Captain Obvious but...

Have you checked in the Set Up Menu to see if you've inadvertently disabled Touch Controls?

I've been wondering the same thing. Maybe there was a shortcut that you accidentally changed without realizing it? And for the record, I changed a setting on my D7100 a few years back. While shooting in a dark balcony, I thought I changed my ISO using the shortcut button plus wheel on the back. But I hit the wrong button and instead changed from RAW+jpeg to Basic Jpeg. And my ISO was a minimum of 3200. :sorrow: What an unfortunate mistake on my part. At least I was able to salvage the images.

Hope you get yours resolved soon! :)
