My thought chain on returning to the fold was i wanted a camera to go with the Sigma 100-400 as it ticked the boxes for me.

The best value for money has to be the D750 I think it can be bought for around £250 more than the D7500 but the FOV with a 400mm lens was just too wide for me.
The D7200 i have owned and could not fault it and at around £850 its a decent price ( apart from the larger buffer though i never noticed a big upgrade from the D7100)
Now the D7500 it just did not excite me @ £400 more than a D7200.
The D500 though a lot more expensive i felt it would cope with my f6.3 lens better so thats why i decided on it.

I cant help feeling the D7500 is a money making exercise due to falling profits on the D7200, i am sure though any one purchasing it will get a great camera.

Never watched any of this guy's videos before, but for some reason I decided to watch this one.

I am now subscribed to him on Youtube.

In a Youtube world brimming with gimmicky reviewers, each with their own brand of [sarcasm] hilarious shtick [/sarcasm], Steve stands out for being down to earth and having a commendable command of the English language. Perhaps most importantly he doesn't appear to be in love with the sound of his own voice; as waaaay too many Youtube reviewers seem to be, in my opinion.

Agreed. He seems very humble, and unlike most other "reviewers" he focuses on the subject matter instead of some gimmicky role. He also has the most thorough yet understandable reviews I've ever seen.

I really like his reviewing style. I also bought 2 of his books and they are outstanding. The one on the Nikon auto focus system is extremely useful for me, coming from the D90 to the D7500. Love the camera and his books make it easier to use.
