D750 Menu Language

Just bought a very nice D750 rig from a member on another forum. Body in mint condition, lenses, speedlight, cases, and etc. Came as advertised, very nice.

As I was getting it set up, I found that the menu language was in Japanese, and that going into the settings to change the menu language gave me only other Asian languages to choose from.

No english.

It looks like, what? a grey market camera? Asian market? Is there a firmware fix for this?

thanks in advance.

If you go to the menu... goto the menu with the Wrench Icon...That's the Setup Menu...
Using the mutli-wheel... and the side-bar...Try to position the menu on the first Option...
Using the multi-wheel, press Down 10 times... <-- this will position your on the Language Menu Option.
Press the mutli-wheel to the right...
Again, using the multi-wheel and the side bar, position the Menu on the first option...
Now press down 5 times on the multi-wheel... <--this should put you on the English Option <--then press the OK button.

Thanks for this Fred.

Just to be on the safe side, I stood on my left foot, and faced the east. Worked a charm
