Hahnel Captur does not trigger my D750 camera

Hi, I have purchased a Hahnel Captur Module - Timer for use with my D750. The Captur seems to work - it makes all the noises and flashing lights - the wireless receiver on the camera flash mounting seems to respond. However the camera does nothing.
I have set the camera settings to Default. The AE-L / AF-L was the focus button - it is no more. Focus reverts to the camera's default focus and press to shoot button.
The camera "Disc" selector on the top left is set to M. The Captur has been set to single shot. The camera is on AF.

Any ideas on how to make this work?
I want to take pictures using a wireless means.

Is there any Nikon software to use with a mobile phone to achieve this remote wireless triggering? (Please provide link to the software)
Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks for the interest.
I managed to speak to a local Hahnel distributor.
I had not connected the cable from the receiver to the camera USB port. The one that I found in the box was round with multi-pins.
I remembered that I had a cable in my camera bag - I thought that it was for image transfer. I took it out and tried it. It was the cable that the person said I needed!!
I had un-boxed the remote and placed that cable in my bag many months ago - and forgotten about it. Since the round plug in the kit did not fit my camera I assumed that it was not necessary when viewing video instructions on how to use the remote. It did not trigger my memory to look for another cable until the distributor mentioned that it was crucial to have it.

Also discovered that AE-L / AF-L button could still be the focus button.

Well you have your solution. There is a Nikon Android phone app for triggering the D750, and it gives you the Live-View image on the phone for you to see what the photo will be.

Unfortunately, it does rely on Live-View so the autofocus performance is not great with a D750. But it does the job. It does require turning on the wi-fi on the camera and connecting your phone to the camera wi-fi. This will disconnect from a home wi-fi and might affect what you are trying to do.

Wireless Mobile Utility for Android. I am guessing there has to be an iOS version at the App Store.
