What kind of USB connector is that on the D750 body?

My D7000 uses the older standard Mini-B. I guess I assumed the D750 was a Micro-B like most every phone or other portable device with USB. When a micro-B cable would not fit, I ordered a USB type C cable from Amazon. It arrived today, connector too big.

What is that connector? I want to tether to my notebook PC for astrophotography to use DigiCamControl and not run down the battery with Wi-Fi. The cable Nikon provides is less than half the length I need.

USB standard connectors are listed here, but I do not see the right one. https://www.newnex.com/usb-connector-type-guide.php

Hey BF, I too was thinking about connecting my D3500 to an iPad or MacBook for night-photos. Found out that Nikon's UC-E20 would only work for my old Mac desktop with USB2.0 port. Newer MacBook or iPad Pro now only have USB-C ports. So I found and thought this cable might work to connect devices with USB-C ports to Nikon camera: Cable Matters, USB-C to Micro USB cable with braided jacket (3 ft, 6 ft). I haven't got and tried yet. You can research it and see if it works for you. Let us know. Thanks

Which side is not fitting camera side? Just look up the usb cable number in documentation and cross reference on Amazon. This is the result I get USB 2.0 to Mini-B but that cant be correct as you indicated that was for d7000. Just order one of the replacement cables for d750.

Thanks everyone. From further searching on Amazon, the connector is called "Mini-B 8-pin" and it looks like Fuji is to blame for it's existence. Not a sanctioned USB connector. Now if somebody out there has a Fuji and wants to try sticking the data cable into a D750, that is exactly the experienced information I was hoping for.

Going in, I foolishly thought Nikon would stick to a real standard or something. :D

Now an update: Sigma dock data cable has the correct connector, and is about 5-6 feet long like I need. Found this out opening the box I got in the mail today.
