Class Assignment: Wearable Paper

So one of the instructors at the college asked if I'd photoshoot one of his class projects, "Wearable Paper: Create a wearable garment completely out of paper." Not knowing what to expect, and having only minutes notice (of course) I grabbed what I had on hand (Sigma 50mm f/1.4, Godox V860II) and headed to class thinking this was probably going to be disastrous. I was stunned by the creative ideas some of these students came up with and the amount of time invested.

Bear in mind of these garments were entirely made of paper. Glue was permitted but not mechanical fasteners (e.g. staples). To get a passing grade, the garment had to be durable enough to walk around in and display. There were 38 students total, here are some of the better projects:

Yes, just goes to show the kids can really be creative, even if a little weird sometimes.

Nicely photographed, Paul. All of the examples are unique and creative. But THIS one - OH. MY. GOSH! Does anyone else remember making paper chains with gum wrappers such as Juciy Fruit and Doublemint gum wrappers? They looked something like this:
