I've heard lots on here about Grey kit , but I've pushed the button on750 with 24-120 , it arrived in less than 3 days from Honk Kong , checked number with Nikon , they said there were no known issues with this serial number and registered it , zero count on shutter , English hard copy instructions , so overall up to now I'm delighted , ok if I do get a problem the company give a 3 year warranty maybe not as reliable as Nikons but on the two items , going of Amazon pricing I saved nearly £1100 , so lots in pocket if I need to get a repair myself , I'm happy with it , over last 4 days taken maybe 500 shots, couple of times 20-30 with rapid fire all seems good , look forward to years of pleasure
If anyone's interested I got it with Panamoz .com , very good communication , delivered before time and tracked through 4 airports would not hesitate using them for my next lens

It is curious that the store you used does not ship to the U.S.

You will really like it. I got my D750 / 24-120 as grey from an individual. Sold to me with a dozen clicks after the 20,000 click working fine shutter was replaced under recall.

I tend to buy / sell used stuff and any used stuff from one of the five or six major retailers may be grey, and those that do resale / trades will offer you the same price (grey or not) whether you are buying or selling. Apparently once it is a used item it is "don't ask / don't tell".

I do shop for price/performance and admit to taking some risk. Fortunately I've never had a regret of any kind.
