Good Evening,
im sorry if I’m asking a question that may have been answered before. I didn’t see it in a search.
I’m trying to use my D750 to stream my church video to a Roland audio/video mixer via an HDMI connection. I need to remove the red/green focus box from the live view screen, it shows up on my feed. Is there a way to do this?

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the ride.
We look forward to seeing more posts and samples of your work.

I don't shot the D750. but I am sure someone else will be along to help you.

I believe you need to cycle through the options using the "Info" button. You should be able to select a completely blank live view screen doing that.

Thank you Mr Murphy,
Unfortunately that does not seem to work.
It stays in the frame even when I have all the settings set to manual focus as well.
It is getting a little discourageing.

While I'm always willing to be proven wrong, I really don't think what you want to do is an option. Period.

I can play around this evening, finally got the 750 back from the shutter recall repair yesterday, but if cycling through didn't remove it Horoscope Fish may be right. I will post this evening if I can figure it out.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate your help. There must ae a way to do it, but it alludes me.

Call Nikon and ask. They can talk you through any changes you'd need to make if it is something that can be done. I don't think it will cost you money either. Good luck!

I spent several minutes going thru your problem on my D600... and it appears No, you can't turn it off... Obviously, if you use the camera to either take a picture, or record video with, it doesn't display on the recorded video, but that's NOT what you're doing... you're using the display screen as a visual and you're streaming what's being displayed on the LCD... which will include the green/red focus point...

It appears that the HDMI is seeing what's being sent to the LCD display and not the sensor before the display... if that makes sense...

Thank you so much. I have been trying to use my DSLRs with the Elgato Cam Link to live stream (OBS, Zoom) and that damned focus box was on my D800, but not my D850. Both of those models work with El Gato Cam Link, by the way, even though they are not listed as compatible on the Elgato website. With the D850 the bottom screen info was showing up, but it was easy to crop out in the OBS software. (But I will try changing the HDMI setting there, too.) I also tried "Control My Nikon" software which lets you see a clean live view inside a window (which can be captured into OBS), but it was not true HD. The advantage to Control My Nikon is that you can do it with the regular USB cable which means you don't need the $130 Cam Link, but with Cam Link, the detail is 10x better.
