I use the 128GB version of that card in my D750 exclusively....have two and they've been flawless....no real need for anything faster I think...

That is the card I use in My D750 has a fast WRITE speed and if you shoot in JPEG it will give you 100 frames before it slows down to catch up. IF I remember correctly if will go 40? frames in RAW before it has to slow to catch up. Don't quote me on that one.

EVEN ON A "GOOD" DAY I HAVE NOT FILLED UP A 32GB 95 MB/s' CARD IN MY 750, THEN AGAIN I AM SHOOTING A 600, 610 AND A COUPLE OF 7100'S.

I am new to the D750, I am using the same Transcend 32 GB 90 MB/s 600X that I have been using in the D800 & D810, actually thankful for the 2 SD slots versus the SD & CF of the others, never had an issue with these Transcend cards. I am not a believer that bigger is better, The 32's hold 700 + on the D750, and 525 + on the D800 & D810. Since I shoot commercially everyday having more than one shoot on a card is a risk I'm unwilling to take, bad enough if I need to re-shoot anything, I shoot RAW and have never used the jpeg back-up option.

BTW Liking this D750, not as quiet as the D810 but I just waste time and space on the 36 MP Files, if the D700 used the same batteries I would have gone back.

D750 is a nice body except the cables are different than my other bodies which creates a nuisance when always carrying back up cables, dumb move by Nikon in my opinion.

Batteries or cables, pick your pain.

Rocketman, I use the very card you referenced, among others, and have found it to be a good, reliable card. There are certainly faster cards out there, so if you are going to be shooting long bursts, or quick series of short bursts close together, that might be something to think about. I found this article about D750 buffer size:

The fastest SD cards are really expensive, even compared to XQD of CF cards.

I prefer Hoodman Steel (plated) SD cards. Lifetime guarantee on data loss - card fails and their lab does the recovery - card replaced.

Read speed up to 300 MB/s
Write speed up to 256 MB/s

thats impress backup.

Im buying some new lenses and the camera so ill have to cope with a slower card then those 300mb cards atm. Im very tight with funds. seems like the highest level you can buy before things jump up and price jump as well for the 200mb/s+. I used to have the transcend 600x sd cards when I had the D600 and I had no complaints. I shoot bursts of 2-5 frames and usually this is only in the ceremony. sometimes when snipping on the dance floor with the 85mm also. I dont care about transfer to the pc. it can be 10 minutes for all I care. it should be more then enough.

much appreciated guys.
