How to shoot with Nikon F4

I was at my best, a spring chicken youth at the age 40 :)
Shooting with Nikon F4, on a Nikkor 55 micro. No trouble with eyesight.

Now almost 30 years later, I barely can handle a d750. I dont see the settings in the field, I have to adjust them before I head out. I know reading glasses, but that would mean two pair of glasses to keep track of....

Well the point is .---- this fabulous computer called Nikon d750 really gives me great shots!

Everything is like clockwork, the AF is superjetfast and beeps to say its OK, the exposure is dead on, everythimg. I just mount a 70-300 VR nikkor, let the lens and d750 think a second. I really dont see what they are doing, I can somehow see that things get sharp and pretty good exposed. And the shot they give me is like that photo taken above!

Hope you take this point

How do I adjust my Nikon F4 so its point and shoot with Portra 400 film -- using the D750 as a companion set at same ISO to show what speed and aperture to be used.

I did know this back in the 80ies, I used F4 a lot. But years have passed, and I really cant remember

@Broga Voffe, I use transition bifocal glasses that Adjust with the tilt of my head. It took a while to get used to them, but they are great. They are easier for me than bifocals which make me dizzy...
