What was or has been your experience?
I'm buying a D750 and a Nikon 14-24 2.8. I've been longing for this set-up for a long time.
I assume I'll mostly use my new FF set-up going forward. I'm keeping my D7100, my Tokina 11-16II, Sigma 17-70C, and Sigma 18-250mm.
I'm getting rid of a lot of stuff I've bought over the last two or three years and basically never used. I'm thinking cut the pieces and parts down to minimal. Of course, minimal is relative.
My first love is landscape. I also like Milky Way, Star Trails, and night shots. Mostly go wide all the time.
With my DX kit, I have a trinity that gets me the length to shoot most anything I care about. I'm thinking the only other lens I'll buy for the D750 is the Sigma 24-105. My current thought is since the DX has more reach, I'd use it when I needed maximum reach.
Am I kidding myself? Any of you guys not filling your kits with multi range glass so you can do anything and everything with both formats?
Will the GAS ease a bit?
Anyway, Sunday morning thoughts. All opinions welcome!
