Focus check preview zoom - equivalent print size?

I often think scrolling around the zoom preview (OK button) always shows soft pics to me. Does anybody know what the magnification or equivalent print size would be? It must be quite large looking at the ratio of the small box to the entire preview frame. Thanks.

Correct. When I scroll around a saved shot using the magnified view on the camera preview screen, does that partial view relate to some huge print size or pixels and has anybody ideas on what size it would be? I'm assuming that some electronic scaling would correspond to the quality of the zoomed image I'm looking at, because there is no obvious pixelation from the camera lcd screen and the image looks too soft to be showing native sensor pixels.
