Aperture Priority problem. Main control dial not working.

I've recently purchased a Nikon D750 and have been playing around with it for a few days, but I think I may have changed something somewhere as I'm having a problem with using the camera in Aperture Priority mode. It was working fine until a couple of days ago, but now it's playing up.

Here's the problem:

I set the mode dial to "A" aperture priority mode. Normally, rotating the sub command dial would change the aperture (which it is doing) and then rotating the main command dial would change the ISO. My problem is that when I rotate the the main command dial, nothing is happening at all.

I know the actual mechanics of the dial must be working, as if I switch over to manual mode, the main command dial works fine for adjusting the shutter speed etc..

Can anyone please help?

Check menu d8, easy iso. It should be ON for the behavior you want. I don't care for the feature, I rather push the iso button and turn the wheel.

I'm still reading my D7100 guide but I've hadn't seen this option yet. Will definitely try it out as I find using the button annoying.

I love this feature on my 7100. Why use two hands to change ISO when one can suffice?
I guess I'm finger-challenged. I tried easy iso for awhile. I liked the idea of quick iso change, but I spent more time correcting accidental changes. It is pretty much an every-time thing for me to spin the wrong command wheel at least once whenever switching between shutter and aperture priority. Its best that nothing happens when I do that. Having iso jump to front or rear wheel and get accidentally changed was big trouble for me.
