That's more than I thought it would be, but I agree with you that it is worth it for a great backup. The D7200 is a great camera!

Glad you were able to get it repaired! Although it's an expense no one wants to incur, at least the body is fully functional. Supposedly Nikon does a thorough inspection of what needs to be fixed. Just be sure to put it through its paces in case you have to send it back again. Their warranty used to be either 3 or 6 months for repairs.

I think '06 is in Canada? So $536.74 CAD is $421.54 USD. I paid my dentist $350 last week to to get two old fillings replaced. It took her about 30 minutes.
