Low battery in Lv

I run my battery down every so often. This AM I was shooting in my back yard using Lv. The last shot did not finish/complete, so it left me with an open exposure in Lv. I tried a few things ,on/off, push Lv, push shutter, etc. I suspected the battery all along but to have it quit mid exposure was surprising. I searched the site for this subject and didn't locate anything info, hence this post.

The camera is supposed to recognize when the battery is too low to continue in LV and in my experience has always kicked me out of live view before the battery died. If your battery is old, the camera might not have enough time to do this. Not sure what your question is. If you have a fresh batt, pop out the old and in with the new. You might need to press the shutter release to reset the shutter after the fresh battery is in. Hope this helps.
