Built-in flash does not work

The built-in flash of my D7200 has stopped working.
Even with automatic and with the flash signal active, the lamp door opens but the flash does not work. Could it be just the fused bulb or is it some software configuration? Thank you :grumpy:

First off. with flash on automatic are you trying this test in a somewhat dark room? The auto flash will not fire in a brightly lit room.

Also, make sure you are following the flash procedures starting on page 144 of the user manual.

If the flash still fails, try a factory reset of your D7200. See https://seventrumpet.com/nikon-d7200-factory-reset/ for instructions.

If the flash still fails, it might be time to take it to the camera doctor.
