Command dial resistance

Does the front command dial have more resistance than the back to you guys?

I don't really understand the meaning of futile, but I'm asking because it might have more possibilities of failure in the future and I wanted to know if this is how it was built in general.

To the OP, if one of your wheels is extra tight or extra loose, that's not normal. If you have warranty, I would get it fixed or at least contact Nikon about it.

I cannot feel any real difference on mine. It seems similar to me. The front command dial is a bit more awkward for me than the back command dial. Arthritis and broken fingers from sports and such of my youth.

I can now understand the futile thing..
