The first is Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 and Sigma 70-200mm f2.8. from what I can see and read including DXO Mark they seem to rate well. I would appreciate any experiences and impression from any who own or used the above.

Thanks, I am not, I go more by actual reviews I read and watch. As far as the 70-200mm there is not much choice as Nikon, Sigma and Tamron all experience similar Focus Breathing to under 150mm at portrait taking distances. The only lens that hits the mark in this respect is the Canon 70-200mm with 195mm. The 18-35mm Art lens which is Sigma's first dedicated DX lens looks good on the face of things.

I think the bokeh is better on the Nikon, but after that its pretty much an even field, but that might be my memory slipping. I went with Nikon and i'm happy with that

You are 100% correct about that Jay, the rings do result in a more pronounced edge to them and don't melt into the background as smoothly as the Nikon lens do but I am not exactly what you call a Bokeh FanBoy.....LOL

Could've answered your own conundrum there then fella. I'm creamy bokeh fanboy i guess. If you're using an aps-c frame, the VR1 Nikon could be a consideration tho
