This post begins the thread and also tests the exif data viewable at this site. LR6 is having a minor issue in that regard. The nef file was converted to dng using adobie dng converter, opened in LR5.7, white balanced, and exported as jpg.

This shot is of a just molted Phalangium opilio. Also known as daddy longleg or harvestman. It is not a spider due to the non-segmented body, although it does have 8 legs.

When your prey is not available ya capture what is there. If not the insect, then the insects turd.

Thanks Jerry. I use manual 100% of the time. The insect stuff is done with either a Tamron 60mm macro or Sigma 105mm macro. As you will remember from your Pentax days, each shot will be different for your exposure triangle. Hope to see many posts from you in this thread. Rock on with the D7200.
