At long last!

I am now the proud owner of the D7200! And unless I'm mistaken, I'm the first Nikonite to own one. Yay me!

I'll post pictures soon, it's my friend's birthday today and as excited as I am to have this camera, well ya know... priorities.

Might even make an unboxing video (even though I shake my head at them, that's how excited I am), but as promised I'll make a review and share it ASAP.

With the 7200 out that means I have not one most current camera body. Suddenly all my photographs are now sub par and I must have a "new nice camera" so I can take good pictures again.

Congrats.

Indeed, you should be ashamed of yourself.

you need to update your sig ;) congrats!

I do indeed. And thanks. The guy at Henry's had a demo unit for me to try out before I actually paid for it. I already love it, it's amazing and I've used the D7100 before. This is noticeably better.

Looking forward to hear your thoughts. Mine arrived today but this is my first digital SLR and have nothing to compare it to. Very interested to hear what you have to say.

A chance not taken is a wasted opportunity.

This is noticeably better isn't what I wanted to hear. Been planning on getting a D7100 for some time and was waiting for this to come out to see how it would effect the price. Now I know I'll want the D7200 instead. Congratulations on your purchase though!

Well I'll go into more detail in my review, you might find that the changes aren't enough for you afterall. The D7100 is no worse a camera just because the D7200 is out. You'll be happy either way.

I know, right? Ever since this 7200 came out, my shots are looking soft, colorless and not interesting at all. Just blah!
Perhaps if I bought another D7100 so I'll have one for each hand ,things would get better.
