Nikon D7200?

Any guesses as to when 7200 will come out?

It's already been released.

​It's named the D7100

Just assuming that if there was a 3000 -3100-3200, 5000-5100-5200, that the 7000 series would be the same.

It probably will be, but just when nobody outside of Mgmt at Nikon knows yet!

And it most likely will, but the D7100 is pretty much brand new.

Tomorrow - better hurry only 5 will be made.

The time between the D3100 and D3200 was a little more than 2 years, but the time between the d7000 and the D7100 was a little less than two years. So, I'm guessing a little less than two years from now will be the D7200...

I'm sure the D7100 will tide everyone over for a couple more years so not much need for a new model.

When I first saw this thread title I was beginning to wonder if I had actually bought the latest Nikon DX or not !

Maybe after the D400/D500...

I have one, bought it in Thailand last week.

I read announcement for release in 2016

Would like it to be very soon.....then I might be able to afford a discounted D7100.

D70 - 2004, D80 - 2006, D90 - 2008, D7000 - 2011, D7100 - 2013, So the upgrading at least is within the period of 2 years..
