Clearing Nikon Transfer 2 Upload History

I upload photos from my Nikon D7100 to my Windows 10 PC using the "Nikon Transfer 2" component of the "Nikon ViewNX 2" package. I have selected the "Upload New Files Only" option. Recently, it has been skipping files which I am certain that I haven't already uploaded. For example, today I shot DSC_7598, DSC_7599 and DSC_7600 but only the first two of the three were uploaded. I expect the reason is that the image counter in my camera rolled over within the last year, and I had previously shot another DSC_7600 last year. I would like to clear the upload history from Nikon Transfer 2 so that this does not happen again, but I cannot find out how to do this in the Help file. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum Rich. I cannot help you with this but I am sure there are others in the forum that can.

Select the Options from the Window Drop-down menu...

You should get to the above screen...

Un-check the Box the arrow points to.... There is no "upload history"... It simply looks at the folder and makes a determination whether a file with a matching name exists or not...

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the ride.
We look forward to seeing more posts and samples of your work.

You may want to consider changing your file naming convention yo avoid overwritting your older file with the newer one, thus completely loising your original file.

Welcome!

Why don't you allow ViewNX-i to create a subfolder for each transfer. Click on
Primary Destination, then Create a SubFolder for each transfer.

Welcome to the forum. There is a work around even though I personally don't think I have had your problem. In your camera change the naming prefix of your files from "DSC_7958" to something like D7K7958. That is the way I have my D7100 set up so I can determine which camera I used for the photo. My D750 files start with 750 instead of DSC_ That should take care of your problem.
