    I just took a look at mine and where yours looks like the end isn't flush with the grip, mine is a perfectly smooth trasnsition. I think yours is sticking out.Red plastic on grip issue.-img_0226.jpg

    Just checked and mine is smooth like DaveC as far as I can tell it is not sticking out like the OP is

    Thank you for the photos to show that it is supposed to be flush. I know it's not a big deal at all but I can be slightly OCD with this kind of stuff. I may try using some adhesive to see if I can make it flush again.
