Lens calibration

I often get blurry pictures. I need to figure out how to calibrate my lens. Once I calibrate it, do I need to do it every time I put that lens on? I often use multiple lenses during a shoot! Thanks!

Well there are many possible causes of blurry shots, most of them related to shooting technique, but there are also many Youtube videos that will teach you how to calibrate the auto-focus of your lenses; there are several techniques to choose from. Regardless of how you do it, once the adjustment is made it stays-put until you change it.

He means change the calibration and not just change the lens. You need to calibrate every lens you have and when you do change lenses out the camera know what lens you have on it and will apply the calibration you set for that lens.

It would probably help us if you were to post a couple of photos here so we can see if there is possibly another answer to the blurry photos. Blurry many times is two slow a shutter speed where softness/out of focus is generally lens calibration or focus point in the wrong spot

Here are the directions for uploading a photo so that the EXIF data will show for us.

Guidelines to adding a photo to your post.

1. Resize photo to 1000px on the long side.
2. Resolution set to 72ppi (Pixels Per Inch)

These guidelines will be good for viewing on a computer but will not be good for printing. This will help safeguard your copyright.
