This is some of the lenses I am looking at. Which of these do you think is best for my Nikon D7100. I do horse photography specifically alot of jumper events. I want clarity and a good amount of zoom. If you think another used lens within the 500-650 bracket is better than I am open :).

What is your budget?

Between the three, Nikon & the Tamron VC beat Sigma when it comes to 70-200mm f2.8 glass.
I ended up with the Tamron VC personally. It's great glass.

Agreed. I too have the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD and it's been superb on both my D7100 and my D750. It'll smoke that 55-200mm.

Is their a big difference between the Tamron 70-200mm F/2.8 Di SP LD (IF) and Di VC USD? The first one is more in my price range but would it still do well with my camera ?

Yes. While there is a huge difference between the VC and non-VC Tamron, work within your budget. Buy what you can truly afford. :)

I have the older non vc Tamron and I find it to be good, not as good as the newer 70-200mm-f-2-8-VC-Di-AF-USD models. Howerver, with the Tamron G2 out now maybe you can get a good deal on the older new G1.

I bit the bullet and got the Tamron with VC. Think I got a pretty good deal at $830 :). It was a Demo model so not much wear at all.
