Setting FN Button to Spot Metering

I have found this is a very handy use/setting of the fn button. Anyone else use this setting?

I did some time ago, one for spot and the other for center but I used it that rarely I changed it again.

I use the preview button for spot on both my d7000 and d7100, easier for my middle finger tip to find quickly when I need it. My function button on the d7100 is set to change to/from crop mode with the command wheel. On my d7000 the fn is set for center weighted, but I rarely need quick access to center weight. Instant access to spot metering is pretty handy for birds and other small animals.
