D7100 books?

I just ordered my D7100! Happy days!

I see there are a lot of books about getting the most out of my D7100, but from what i see, a lot of it is more general photography techniques and Nikon functions. Having come from a D90, can anybody recommend a book which will give me a good transfer onto the D7100, or is it not really worth it?

Thanks!

I have read a few of David Busch's Books on various models, and he is the best selling author on cameras. His books are very well illustrated, and very easy to read. I highly recommend his D7100 book, or skimp and just get his Field Guide to the D7100. I bought his books on Amazon, and they're reasonably priced for what you get. I learned quite a bit on photography in general by reading his books. Here is a link to his D7100 Amazon page

For you @Rorie

thanks for all the suggestions folks. what are the thoughts RE the need given i have come from a D90? Will these books show me things specific to the D7100 that i won't already know from the D90? I know the books are not that expensive, but i am hoping they are not full of stuff i will already know?

David Busch's field guide is a must have. His other book on the 7100 is also very good. But not as compact. Where are you located?

I have a number of books. The best thing I ever did was a Nikon training course on the D7100.
Why? Because although there was classroom stuff, most everything else was hands on.
What it showed me was that it's not books that teach you, it's practice, practice and more practice.
A cliché maybe. But for me, it works.

Patrick Molloy - got to remember hough that classroom settings include having a textbook, and then putting what you learn in the book(s) to the test in the field. So you need the book anyway, and some are better at reading and then putting what they learned into practice. Not knocking your experience though as I can see where that would be very beneficial as well.
