What SD cards do you use?

Hi everyone!.. I currently have SanDisk Extreme 30mb/s and SanDisk Extreme 45mb/s cards...I was wondering if the D7000 will support faster speeds than what I have like the SanDisk Extreme Pro 90mb/s cards? I don't want to waste my money on a Sd cards that my camera doesn't support... Thanks for any info! Much appreciated!

i used them in my 7000, never worried about speed of the camera, just got a good deal on them. i wouldn't go any slower

I tried a 45 and it was much slower clearing the buffer.

I've been using Samsung Pro's for a long while now. They're rated at 80MB/s, are UHS-1 compatible and 16GB cards go for less than $20. Zero issues with any of them in my D7100.

I use whatever's handy, right now I just got a deal on San Disk Extreme Plus 32gb, 80 mbps. I bought 2 of them for $19.99 a piece. I didn't think that was a bad deal.

I have 4 of the SandDisk Extreme Pro 90 mb/s in 32GB. 2 in my D7000 and 2 in my D7100. As much money as I have tied up in cameras why wimp out on the SD cards.

For the type(s) of shooting I do, I rarely need to worry about filling my buffer up too quickly and thus needing faster SD cards. I've always been a happy camper as long as there isn't a huge lag in my buffer filling up.

I believe I got them at B & H Photo. Pretty sure I did. Not sure if they're still running the deal. During Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Just got a couple of these PNY 32gb 90mb/s cards and have been happy so far. It seems like these clear the buffer faster than any other cards I've had.

Not a jab at you joeC, but Nikons information is pretty useless. It would be great if they told you how fast of a write speed the camera can utilize.

Using a sandisk 16GB 30mb/s in my D3200
