Does anyone have this wide angle for APS-C sensors? It's very affordable and sample images look outstanding!

I think I found my next purchase!!

The Tokina 11-16/2.8 is an excellent lens. My Tokina 12-24/4 is at the repair center. I can't wait to get it back. It is my favorite DX lens.

If I was looking for a new Ultra Wide, I think I'd choose the new Tokina 12-28 ultra wide for it's more practical reach. Good luck with yours!

I love my Tok' 11-16mm; image quality has been outstanding. It's a very popular lens around here, along with the Tokina 12-24mm. I wish my 11-16mm was about a pound lighter but such is life I suppose. For anyone wanting/needing an UWA for their DX, this one is hard to beat.

I have the 11-16 and love it, but every now and then I get a soft focus from it. I haven't quite nailed down a particular situation that causes it, so I'm thinking it's the autofocus being a little funny on me - not focusing where I thought, or perhaps the lens is blocking the assist light, or something like that...

I've just bought one too and reckon it's a great lens. Here's the first shot I took with it yesterday, wide open at F2.8....

Tokina 11-16 is an awesome lens for crop sensor cameras. you can still use it with full frame but only at the 16mm side without vignette. Here is one of mine with that lens and D300s.

My Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX-II 11-16mm f/2.8 Lens came in this morning but only had a few minutes to play. The following shots are always my test shots with any new lens or software. Early results are that I love this lens.

Not familiar with Tokina, well never used one and never really looked at them. You all have me curious if they have a FX version of this lens that is just as good.

The Tokina 17-35mm f/4 Pro FX gets very good reviews. I've had a chance to use one on a few different FX bodies while here at the college and it was pretty impressive. You'll get some pretty good CA with this lens, to be sure, but CA cleans up really easily in PS/LR so that's rarely a concern for me.

Man, I can't wait till tomorrow. The postman is bringing it right to my door. I already told my boss that I need to be home early.:)
I think this lens and Stevie Nicks will be a match made in heaven.

Wow! Did I start a trend with this thread? :)

Two people already picking this lens up since I posted!

I still don't have the money for mine [I'm OP] - hopefully sometime soon.
