If I was looking for an upgrade and didn't have the money for a new one. Well a refurbished option would be my first. Reason being the camera, lense or what ever it may be is tested and gone through by the manufacturer. Never know what you're getting by buying used. So go right ahead and enjoy. Assuming thats what you're asking.

That's a good deal I just bought mine 2 months or so ago for a $100 more and it's a Nikon Refub but I'm glad I got mine when I did.

Man, I'd love to for that price, but just got a laptop which was much more essential than a few more AF points and hardware/software gimmicks.

That is a good deal. I was seriously thinking about getting a new D7000 with the 18-105mm lens for $999. I still am thinking about it. I really want that lens and it is $480.00 by itself.

Keep in mind the 18-105mm can usually be had for about $250 ish new in the box online.

That is the way I bought mine, with a 18-105, since that is the lens I needed. Better buying as a kit. For just a few dollars I got a few extras including an extra battery that I would have to get anyway. I think I gave $1043 for all.

The D7000 is back up on ebay for $569 refurbished with fee shipping in lower 48.

I checked it out and shipping and taxes and exchange rate make it over $700 for me so not worth it for me but $569 is a really nice price if you are in USA!
