Nikon D7000 with flash triggers question

Hello fellow Nikon lovers!

I Have a Nikon D7000 and 2 Cowboy Studio flash triggers. I also have 2 Sunpak external flashes, one for Nikon and one for Canon. Can I use the Canon flash with my Nikon and triggers so I can have 2 flashes at once?

Thank you!

The trigger only uses the central contact to fire the flash ..all the others are to do with the iTTL so on the triggers will be fine.. The flashes only fire in manual ,fixed output mode so you will have to do test shots or use a flash meter...

You can use almost any flash when you use triggers to fire them. But then you'll have to meter them and work out from there.

Almost being the operative word ..if they are a little older and have 300v on the trigger then you need to isolate from the modern DSLR .

This applies to older mains studio flashes and many camera mounted units .

Optical trigges are available for these units on e bay about $10
