Hello, I am a Nikon D7000 user and just got a Sigma 150-500 F5-6.3 APO DG OS. For some reason the auto focus is not working at all. I've read comments of people saying the lens works perfect with the D7000. I'm wondering if there's a setting I should change. Thanks for your help!

Make sure both the switch on the camera and on the lens are set to AF. I have the same combination, and did have the AF motor on the lens go bad on me after owning it a year with heavy use. Sigma warranty is great and they repaired it in about 10 days, but if it's a new lens I'm hoping that's not the case.

Hi, just the AF/M switch, which of course I have in AF and the Image Stabilization switch (off, 1 and 2 modes)

Then make sure the AF/M switch on the camera front didn't accidentally get moved to M. I never, ever use that, but a friends' daughter was checking out my camera and switched it off - took me 5 minutes to figure out why the heck the camera stopped focusing. If that's not it, it's time to contact Sigma, or the place you just got the lens from. Did you buy new or used?
