D700 Expected shutter count?

So I bought a D700 with an MB 10 for $400. The shutter count is 159K. Curious of an average life expectancy.

The D700 is rated for 150,000 actuations, so yours is 9,000 past that - But that is average life expectancy, not a guarantee so it may keep shooting forever with no problems, or you may at some point need to send it off to have the shutter replaced.

You will find out, hopefully later than sooner. A lot of them went much further than the life expectancy official numbers.
