D60 self-timer question

I have a Nikon D60 camera and I use the self-timer mode alot when I take photos.. but the problem is that for every single photo, I have to change the mode to self-timer since it gets back to single frame after a photo is taken with the self-timer. Does it have an option for the self-timer to be always on?

If you do not have a wireless remote please get one, it is less than $20. Make sure you have the full menu on.
Set the remote under CUSTOM SETTING MENU, scroll down to 17) Remote on duration to 15 minutes. Then set remote on the Release mode and you are ready to go. If you turn off the camera, or don't take a picture at the time set you will have to change the settings back.

That sounds right ellman, took me awhile to figure out. I also have a battery grip which does the same thing. Power it down and u have to reset it 2 shoot in the vertical mode. Annoying but the D60 is an entry level DSLR so u don't all the nice functions of the upper end cameras.
