Nikon D60 help/repair

I am going to be selling nikon so I'd like to repair two issues.

1- the door to the card reader snapped in 1/2. The hinge is still intact with 1/2 the door attached. Is there a way to fix it or replace it?

I am selling it as a bundle with a few lens including a nikkor lens. My nikor lense is stuck to my macro lens. How do I separate them . I asked the company of the macro lens and they told me to put it in the freezer in a ziplock bag. I haven't done that because it seems crazy to put a lens in a freezer.

Lastly what is a reasonable price to sell a used nikond60 with a bundle of Lens filters, two lens and a lens hood?

With the macro lens i guess you mean a close up filter or add on lens,if so try putting the flat your hand on the front of it it and apply preasure while trying to turn it,some times gripping it can distort it and stop it from turning, the memory card door you could try ebay.

If Mike is correct in saying a filter is stuck on the front of a lens, have you tried putting a wide rubber band around the circumference of the filter? It offers a tacky grip for unscrewing the filter.

Its hard to find Nikon parts, but memory card and battery doors can be found on ebay. The cheaper ones are knockoffs and delivered straight from China. You will need some tiny tools and should be reasonably competent working with tiny mechanical devices. Seek out websites on how to remove and replace. Maybe... Broken Memory Card Protector for D60 - Photo.net Nikon Forum

Is the macro lens a screw-on filter? First the obvious, make sure you are unscrewing the right way, counter clockwise. Try the rubber band trick Hark mentioned. In an EXTREME case, a TINY drop of alcohol applied to the threads may help. Tiny and strategically applied so there is no chance of getting the glass wet and having alcohol wicking into the lens. I can't imagine it being so tight that the rubber band alone doesn't work, unless corrosion formed from getting wet or it was stored in very damp conditions.

For prices, just check ebay. Use the search filter to show sold items only and check the cameras and lenses each separately. The filters probably don't add much to your resale value. Keep in mind your kit may not be desirable as a kit to someone else. Things sometimes sell better separately.

The memory card cover is called an "sd cover".... search eBay for "Nikon D60 SD Cover"

There's a vendor that sells OEM replacements for $6.50 with free shipping.

Depending on your ability to take pictures of that camera, (better pictures = higher prices) and identify what accessories you're selling with it... it looks like the range is anywhere between $200.00 to $275.00...

If the stuck macro thing is one of those screw on $20 lenses, you'll need to get it off the camera...
