New D5600, documentation question

Hi,
Thanks for letting me join these forums. I recently got a D5600 to replace my D60, and it's a significant step up, however, it's lacking the reference manual. I was wondering (besides paying someone on ebay $50.00, seriously) if there was a way to pick one up. My D60 came with one, I believe it was 8x6, which is a great size for a ref manual.
I know I can have it in PDF format, I just prefer the paper as I make bookmarks, and annotate, take notes etc.
I hope to get some pics up soon.
Thanks in advance for the help

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the ride.
We look forward to seeing more posts and samples of your work.

And welcome to the new world where printed manuals have gone the way of the dodo bird  Your other options are to get the PDF manual and print it out (cheaper than $50.00) or buy a third party printed manual like the David Busch one (he does great manuals and they are also cheaper than $50.00.

You can download the users manual here or the reference manual here The Reference is the big manual which you are probably looking for.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy the D5600.

Thanks all, I feared that was the answer. I had post it bookmarks throughout my D60 reference manual, and short of printing out the 400+ pages myself, I'll be stuck using the pdf.
I gotta say, the few pics I've taken with this have already impressed me and made the purchase extremely worthwhile
I got a 300mm zoom lens and took this a couple weeks back

I'm really looking forward to what this camera can do, and to be honest, it's a bit overwhelming.

I’ve got a d5600 also and love it, however an actual manual would have been nice. The download is better than nothing, and there is material that can be purchased from other sources, but how much does one have to spend to get an actual manual included with the camera?

Nikon has cut back on items included with new bodies for years. They used to include a cord for the wall charger. Now they just include the little plug. They also used to include a cover where the flash attaches, but that too was eliminated (although can be purchased separately). So it seems to be a sign of the times. But not including a manual does save paper which not only helps the environment, it allows fewer trees to be cut down.
