Cannot find where to post a question so I doing it here, Please move to where ever it should be.

While learning my new D5600 I have somehow set it to when in Auto Mode and using the view screen it will take 2 pictures when I press the button 1 time. Is this something I have changed or default ?

Thanks

Also I type slow but there seems to be a lag I keep getting ahead of the typing with it doing Red underline before I finish the word. Or not taking the keys or space bar. I am using IE 11

Not sure about things like bracketing but my first thought is have you changed the drive mode to continuous by mistake, then finger too long on the shutter button could give a couple of exposures.

Yes, what Mike said. I think if bracketing is set, lingering on the button will limit the burst to the number of bracket shots selected.

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't think I have set the Bracketing to anything different but will check. As I read in the book I have sometime I have the camera and look at what I am reading about so maybe I did I will check. I do remember reading about bracketing.

Thanks

If you don't find the answer you are looking for, you can always reset your camera to factory settings. See your manual on how to do this (I don't have the D5600). There is usually a two buttons combination that does just that.

Keep us informed on how you solve your problem.
