White Balance_ is possible to choose color temp (Kelvin)

First off, Welcome to the forum.

I don't have the D5500, but I do have the D5300 which is close and to answer your question, I don't think so. You can set it by taking a measurement using a "grey" card for a preset or from a photo you have previously taken, but I don't see a way to set the "Kelvin" color temp directly.

Thank you all for your kind answers, I have this machine a few weeks and on saturday i get out to shoot the milky way, wanted the wb with 2700K and could not understand where it could enter the desired value for wb, now i realized that the D5500 dont lets you enter values for wb, i ​​solved the problem with this table taken from the reference manual:

Glad you found a way to work around to obtain your desired results. Actually, now that you have posted the chart, it makes sense that it would work fine or pretty close anyway.
