so i haven't been doing much lately due to work , cold and my camera going off the rails and not focusing properly.So again I'm back at the counter with my D5200 this time it plays up in the hands of the staff - finallythey um and ah and once they realise that i don't want it repaired for the 5th time i get given a replacement 
OK its not the latest or the greatest ( dependant on outlook) but the replacement is the D5300.i had the body only as i seem to use either my 35mm or my Sigma.The quick test shots i have performed tonight show it is a better camera than the D5200, its quieter, smoother, feels better in the hand , and the image quality is well better (it appears in focus lol), joking apart it seems sharper and the low light medium to high ISO seems much better controlled.guess i need to give it a full test tomorrow of both out and about and proper low light , but so far IMO its a worthy upgrade to the D5200
