Available storage / Number of pictures left

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to view the amount of storage available in your SD card from the camera or the numbers of pictures that can still be taken?

It's in the lower right corner of the LCD on top of the camera.

I think you mean the rear-mounted LCD on the Information screen... Last time I checked the D5300 didn't come with a top-mounted LCD.

Yep it doesn't have a top mounted LCD. Still can't find this info.

Yes, I missed that it was a 5300 wasn't paying enough attention at that time of the morning.
