Re: Wi-fi is not connecting with my iPhone
BitTorrent Sync (btsync). It produces a network between all your connected devices (wherever they are). You would transfer the photos to your pc, then sync them to your phone.

Well, finally it worked. Updated the location data first and followed the wi-fi connection rules. When the "I" started flashing I went on my iPhone and changed the wi-fi settings to the camera. After the connection I could see my camera photos on my iphone. The next step will to use the iphone to take camera photos....later.

Glad you were able to get it working. For me, I really haven't used it other than to see that it does work, but is lacking some features that I think would be useful.
OH, Welcome to Nikonites. It is a great place to hang out. Some really nice and knowledgeable people on here. I see you are in FL. There is a meet a greet in FL in Feb 2017. Look in the Meet and Greet forum for details. People have shown up from as far away as Canada. It has been reported that it is a great time for talking and shooting some great shots with others from this forum. Have fun.Walt

In my case I was having the same problem. The key part of the solution for me was to do things in the correct order.
1. Make sure WMU is NOT running
2. Turn on WiFi in the Camera
3. Go to the iPhone and in WiFi settings, connect to the Nikon... SSID
4. Then, and only then, start the WMU.
It's clearly a bug in the software which prevents it from picking up the connection if it is already running.RocketCowboy Thanks/liked this post
