Sandisk Ultra 32GB 32G SD SDHC Card CLASS10 40MB S Memory Card FOR Canon Camera | eBay

Here is the place I'm going to order from in hopefully tomorrow if you guy's get back to me fast, also what other places are there in Canada I may get this model and lens combo cheaper.

Nikon D5200 Digital SLR Kit w/ AFS DX 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 VR** Sale until May 31st ** | Aden Camera Toronto Digital Camera Store

Thanks in advance for any help you can throw my way.

Looks like they are an authorized Nikon dealer. You need to be careful if ordering from someplace cheaper since they may not have the Nikon warranty.

Sandisk is a good brand SD card so you should not have any problems. You may be able to get the same card localy since it is a fairly standard SD card. Class10 40MB should be good enough for that camera.

Thanks for the help guy's,the other thing I was wondering has there been any updates to the firmware for this Camera yet,I found this on Nikon's site I would think the newer ones should have shipped with this.

I plan on shooting a lot of stuff in RAW what is a good converting program,I had a friend buy me a copy of AVS Image Converter and I really like how simple it is to use.

Nikon | Download center | D5200

Have you guys tried these battery's.

Check your camera body for what version of firmware is installed, update it if needed. It only takes a minute.

For RAW processing and conversion, I'd suggest you start with Nikon's NX D application. RAW files need a lot more than just conversion, they need full-on processing. NX-D is free and designed to work with Nikon picture controls and such which can make your post processing life much easier.

As to the battery you listed, I'm going to suggest you get a Wasabi battery instead. I've used a LOT of Wasabi batteries over the years and they're a known good performer. The Wasabi EN-EL14 equivalent will set you back less than $20.

Thanks for all the help guys I'm learning a lot from you guys.

I was wondering can anyone tell me about this SD Card it's a great price, also where do you go to see if it's on the list for this Camera.

ADATA Premier 64GB Secure Digital Extended Capacity (SDXC) Flash Card Model ASDX64GUICL10-R - Newegg.ca

or this one

ADATA Premier Pro 64GB Secure Digital Extended Capacity (SDXC) Flash Card Model ASDX64GUI3CL10-R - Newegg.ca
Forget the first one, the read/write speeds suck; you can do better. The second one *is* better but do you really need 64GB? Unless you're shooting movies, I'd suggest smaller cards and you're going to want at least two sets for you camera. Most people use 16GB cards, I have a mix of 16's and 32's, personally.

I've found these Samsun Pro's work really well in my D7100, my D750 and my GF's D5300. SanDisk Extreme Pro's get a lot of love around here but I think they're over-priced, personally.

I think I'll get 2 of these that I found on ebay, they really do seem to be about the best priced for their performance range that I have seen so far.

They look like a good card but for the money and the 10 year warranty I'm going to buy the Samsung's,I also noticed the Lexar's had an Image recovery thing built into theirs or however it works but a great solution to that I have found is Recuva it's free and works better then any paid or any other software I have ever used for that matter.

That's fair. I like lexars because of the speed. If you record video or take a lot of pictures continuously, then the speed of these cards are great
