Hi all

I need help folks, I am a newbie on Pict, But I like to take picture on wildlife.
I need to know about the setting using cam and lens, I tried to use it on manual, But I have to be on F 32. If I tried lower the err says , I have to use the smaller aperture,- erro on my cam

I know I cannot autofocus, but can i use A setting since I am selecting aperture, or S since i am using Shutter speed, or May be P since program includes a selection of both? I am afraid to broke cam or lens mechanism.

I will be waiting your comments

Thanks

For this to work you have to put the aperture to the highest number F32 or whatever then attach to your camera...
to alter the aperture you do that in the camera...

Turn the aperture ring to its smallest setting (largest f/number) and lock it. You can control the aperture from the camera body, the same way you control it on a lens without an aperture ring. If all else fails, i would contact Tamron to see if the lens has any known issues working with a D5100.

let me try to understand, Any time i need to change the aperture i will need to previous set it, then mount the lens, and if i need to change on mind or look another combination aperture-setting, then repeat the process any time.?

No you leave it set at F32 0n the lens...THEN YOU ALTER "the aperture" IN THE CAMERA....
