I am brand new to this forum, so excited to be here...I have been shooting a D5100 for about 3 years and am just now getting a little more serious about it. So here's my question: I am shooting a kids track meet this weekend. This is the third year in a row I have shot this track meet, and it drives me crazy how quickly the display times out to review the images. I have searched the owners manual and the menu on the camera pretty exhaustively and cannot figure out if there's a way to adjust the display to stay on just a little bit longer? Even a couple of seconds longer would be great. I have 4 batteries so I am not worried about battery life. Anyone know where on the menu I could find this? It's not under display, or tools...stymied!

@Nanisu, First, welcome to the forum. As to your question, the D5300 is also C2 under custom settings. You can enter the C2 menu item and then go to Custom and set any of the various items to the time you want. If you don't want to go to the custom area of C2 you can just change the initial setting from Normal to Long.
