Help! I need to know if I broke my mirror

Hi. Tonight I got the "Error press shutter release button again" message. After googling I found the problem of it getting stuck. In fixing this, I somehow inadvertently displaced the mirror itself. I tried replacing it, but it no longer stays put. How can I replace this? Do I have to replace the entire holder or does the mirror "glue" in, or what? I tried searching this issue, but I just keep running across how to fix the shutter release problem and not replacing the mirror itself.

Send it in to the repair shop

I've no idea how to fix this, other than taking it to a repair center. Good luck in getting this resolved.

It is always better to take it to a qualified repairman than to try and fix something like that yourself. You may wind up damaging the camera further or, since the position of the mirror is absolutely critical in allowing the camera to focus accurately, it needs to be repaired by someone who knows what they are doing.
